"A person can learn a lot from a dog... Marley taught me to appreciate the simple things —

a walk in the woods, a fresh snowfall, a nap in a shaft of sunlight..."

[ Kennel-free dog boarding for your dogs in a natural and tranquil setting ]
Our dog boarding philosophy…
The idea is to keep the dogs in the most natural environment possible. Dogs are pack animals, so their social structure is based on living in a pack with one of them being the pack leader.

When we board dogs, they live with us, roaming free in the house and on the property, but always under supervision of a staff member as their pack leader. This helps to develop the natural social behavior among the dogs and teaches them to accept the human as leader.

Very few dogs have a desire to be the leader of the pack. Most dogs feel more comfortable and safe when they have boundaries set by their owner. In fact, most problem dogs are the result of owners not taking the position of pack leader and as a result, forcing the dog to take a dominate position.

This way of boarding dogs has been proven to be very successful. It develops very happy, well socialized, relaxed, obedient and well- balanced dogs.
Requirements...
Dogs must be licensed, house broken, and up to date on their vaccinations (rabies, hepatitis, distemper, kennel cough, leptospirosis, parvovirosis). They must be dewormed and treated with flea and tick prevention. Male dogs must be neutered and female dogs must not be in heat at the time of boarding. If needed, we would be happy to provide these services at the time you drop your dog off for boarding for an additional fee.

We feed the dogs dry dog food only. No exceptions, other than for medical reasons. Please bring a clean dog bed for your dog.
